About Selling
1. How To Sell On Uniform2
There are two simple steps to selling:
- Register
- Post your advert
Buyers interested in your item will use a form on the website to let you know they want to buy your item. You will receive an email, which will contain the buyer's contact details. You can arrange with the buyer to meet up and trade. We thought it would be a good idea to provide you with some sensible guidelines on meeting buyers and sellers offline: you can read them in our policy guide
2. How to use the edit options
Using Edit, Re-List, or Remove, you can manage your items for sale:
- Edit
- Allows you to change the price and the photo of your item.
- Re-List
- Advertises your item for additional time on the website. Useful if a sale fell through at the last stage, and you want to re-list your item.
- Remove
- Once you have successfully sold your items, you need to remove them. You will get a reminder from Uniform2 about this, which will be sent when a buyer lets us know (by using our Contact Seller form) that they want your item. Also useful if you want to remove an advert for any reason.

5. How do I arrange to meet the buyer?
You will receive an email from a potential buyer. You then have the option of getting in touch with them using the contact details that they gave you. You arrange to meet up with them so you can trade. Uniform2 is not liable in any way for the safety of its users once trading offline. However, we also care about our users, and want to provide you with some sensible guidelines that you might want to consider when meeting buyers and sellers to trade. It is entirely up to you how much caution you want to take when trading, but you could ensure any of the following:
- You could arrange to meet in a public, neutral space to trade. e.g. A cafe, a town square, a school run drop-off point, rather than at one of your homes.
- Your child(ren) should not have anything to do with Uniform2 unless they are over 16 years old and you feel you can trust them to be responsible, but again, this is entirely your decision.
- You might want to withold any personal information from the seller or buyer: your address can be kept private, unless you want to give it out!
